React Job: Freelance Senior JS Developer (m-f-x) @ Heylog

Our mission

Heylog offers a Software-as-a-Service solution that enables dispatchers to communicate reliably on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Viber and – soon – more channels that are already used and preferred by many stakeholders along the logistics supply chain.
As an experienced JS fullstack developer at Heylog, you are responsible for the ongoing support of our frontend and backend team by taking over tickets and providing help with ongoing tasks.
You will become an integral part of the team for the duration of your engagement.

Your tasks

• Working in a cloud-native environment on frontend and backend requirements from conception to finished product alongside our product team to meet both technical and consumer needs
• Supporting our frontend and backend team as a flexible and knowledge expert of Javascript-based technologies
• Working with both internal and external APIs

Your Profile

• 3+ yrs experience with JavaScript-based technologies, including nodeJS, NestJS, React, TypeScript and Styled Components
• 1+ yrs experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially from a best-practice, security and data privacy point-of-view
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases
• Knowledge of Behaviour-driven development (BDD) principles
• Experience with NX or other monorepo tools
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Strong focus on code quality and clean software architecture
